Concerts

Chart-topping Juno winners Three Days Grace toured the U.S. and Canada in the fall of 2006, spreading the word that you can turn your life around after substance abuse. As part of the tour the band played free concerts at a wide variety of treatment centers, shelters, and detention centers, including the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health in Toronto. The tour culminated with a stirring performance for an enthusiastic crowd at the Workman Theatre on November 29th, 2006, filmed for a CBC documentary.

Three Days Grace performed for a sell-out crowd of people who had direct experience with addiction and mental illness. Through this special live performance and in-depth Q&A session, lead singer Adam Gontier led audience Members on an intimate walk through his dark internal journey as an addict, as well as his process for getting clean and turning his life around.

"With the help of my incredible wife, and my friends, I made it through, and thanks to that place [the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health], I'm still here today. I'm very lucky to be where I am today, and not either in jail somewhere, or possibly even not on this earth at all."
